LYNCHBURG, S.C.

Football coach Harry Fulwood shares his life story and the interesting, downright hilarious, very entertaining and sometimes thought-provoking incidences that have occurred to him in his many years. His memoir recounts the life of "A Country Boy from Sumter County, South Carolina" (published by Xlibris), conveying the joys of rural life and the author's unique upbringing to readers everywhere.

Fulwood portrays how his upbringing and the environment of rural Sumter County, S.C. impacted his life journey, showing readers that while it does not matter how or where a person starts, what matters is how he or she uses their starting point to navigate their existences. This personal account shows readers that no obstacle can hinder determination, that discipline determines destiny, not desire. He emphasizes the importance of this discipline, the need to respect one another - the author includes his experience in the U.S. Army - and also his selfless purpose, his dedication in serving others around him.

"I want readers to take away from my writing that a person should live life to the fullest and carry out their purpose for living," Fulwood says.

Readers perusing the pages of Fulwood's book will see the many life lessons "A Country Boy from Sumter County, South Carolina" can offer to the next generation as he infuses his narrative with the strength of character, sincerity and compassion that have characterized own his life.
