New INSPIRATIONAL ACTIVITY BOOK is Released

Author Sarah Honaker is a collector of inspirational quotations, which helped her through some difficult times. She wanted to be able to use these quotations to help children, like her 5-year-old son, Andrew Honaker. From this inspiration, Sarah Honaker, with the help of Andrew Honaker, created "Inspirational Activity Book" (published by AuthorHouse).

"Inspirational Activity Book" is for children and parents to read together. The book contains quotations meant to inspire and instill confidence in children. The authors encourage readers to reflect on each quotation and consider when they might have exemplified the character trait within the quotation. There are also sections of the book where young readers are encouraged to add in their own photographs, drawings or thoughts. At the end of the book, there is a section where readers can write in their favorite quotations.

"It's an exercise for parents and children to work on together, to think about positive quotes and influences," Sarah Honaker says. "It includes our real life stories and how they have impacted us. The whole goal is to let children know that feelings matter."

In keeping with her goal of helping children through difficult times, all proceeds of this book will benefit Kosair Children's Hospital.
