NERJA, Spain

NERJA, Spain - Author Gurdev Naegeli has observed that the world is becoming increasingly global and he anticipates that dramatic change will take place as the world evolves on all levels. Spirituality and religions will also be a part of this change and these areas need to respond accordingly. In his desire to find a spiritual platform, he raises the question "Whose Heaven Is It?" (published by Xlibris UK).

In his debut publication, Naegeli looks into the evolution of spirituality and the main religions of mankind. He highlights the need to focus on the uniting factors of religion rather than its differences. That goal is to identify a spiritual platform from which such unity can be derived. He also assists mankind in the evolution of his spiritual journey in an increasing globalised and changing world.

"(The goal of the book is) to point out the complexity, differences and contradictions between what mankind believes in the main religions and how these can be simplified by advancing the view for a new more modern spiritual platform that simplifies religions," Naegeli says, "It enables us to focus on a better understanding of what we can individually and collectively identify with as the global order to move forward."

Naegeli poses an argument that does not only require religious tolerance but the concept of a spiritual platform or guiding principle for humanity to keep up with the ever-changing world.
