Filled with elements of nature, "Persian Flora: An Adult Coloring Book" (published by iUniverse) offers a collection of line-drawn images from artist Nayera Majedi that are suitable for adult coloring techniques.

Majedi notes that, unlike many other adult coloring books, "Persian Flora" is comprised of works that represent high artistic principles. "Many of the books I observed in the market offer images that seem oversimplified and do not provide design that provokes enough thoughtful consideration of color in order to complete," she says.

Majedi's style is influenced by traditional Persian sensibilities, which she hopes will interest art lovers and inspire the layman to appreciate the sense of energy generated by the pieces based on the spirals, swirls, curls and curves of the natural world.

"This book creates major design forms of flowers that exist in the natural world and stimulates a person to choose colors that suit his conception of form and personal feeling."
