James Peterson, a prestigious university professor, struggles to rebuild his life and sanity after giving up his family and career for Jennifer, a young student he falls passionately in love with. "I started writing when I was twelve years old," El-Guindy says. "I used to be inspired by the facts that occur in real life, but in the same time they promote navigating in the infinite universe of inventiveness, some real facts lit the flame in my heart and fed my creativity."

His hope is that his book sparks a conversation about romance and inspires others to read about devotion and reeducate themselves about love.

About the Author
Moustafa El-Guindy has a doctorate in biochemistry and is a dentist and attorney. He has published poems, articles and books in Arabic, Portuguese and English. El-Guindy lives in Menifee, Calif., with his wife, Iara. He is also the author of "Metodologia e Ética na Pesquisa Científica."
