With time and the proper environment, an ordinary caterpillar can be transformed into a beautiful butterfly. Emma Lynn Glick has applied the same lesson of transformation to Christianity with her newest book, "Metamorphosis."

"Metamorphosis" outlines the process that one can take to become closer with God and live a fulfilling life. The novel cites examples from the Bible and Glick's personal life to share how Christianity can positively impact quality of life.

"The heart is the source of life in the physical body and the core of everything about us," Glick said. "The soul is our emotional heart and is only healthy when connected to God."

Glick compares transformations in nature such as the egg to chicken, tadpole to frog and minerals to diamonds to stories in Bible that reiterate how accepting Jesus is the greatest feat man can accomplish.

"Once you experience the grace of God and allow him to pick you up, there will be transformation," Glick said. "By devoting your life to God he can turn doubts to belief, worries to peace and unhappiness to fulfillment."
