A child's early years are extremely important, because it is during this time that the child starts to develop the basic skills that will help him or her throughout life. One such skill is the ability to read. In "Memito's Friends" author Lorena Alonso-Perry has written a truly helpful and entertaining picture book that instills the love of reading.

About the Author
Lorena Alonso-Perry was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She grew up in Mendoza where she studied her career. She has a background in education and her bachelor's degree is in graphic design. She also has a Masters degree in Digital Design. She has been Working and living in the US for more than 10 years. After she developed her own line of product and accessories for kids, based on one of her products, she got the idea to write this book to show kids her characters and their stories. She was inspired by her son who is learning to read.
