Melissa Productions Learns Animation Design for Children's Book App Self-Publishing

In preparation for many projects, books and new characters to come, Melissa Perry Moraja, the CEO and founder of Melissa Productions, Inc., learns animation design to break into the children's book app self-publishing industry and to provide her fans with interactive fun.

As a leader in the self-publishing industry for children's book series, Melissa is constantly thinking of new ways to be ahead of the curve and add more value for her readers. She has been learning animation in order to provide her audience with an interactive book app, a new addition to her empire that will add fun, education and value to the children who enjoy her stories and characters.

"There is a huge opportunity for children's book writers in developing their stories as interactive book apps. And my goal is to pave the way for other self-publishers to begin doing the same," Melissa shared.

"As a parent, I want the best educational tools available to help my children not only learn, but also develop problem solving skills and enhance their sensory development. Children's book apps are a fun, interactive way to do just that."

Melissa Perry Moraja plans to develop and launch her first children's book app in the fall of 2013, sharing the story of how Splatter and Friends, the Guardians of the Prism, began. The app will engage children through colorful illustrations, a humorous story line, and an interactive experience.

"My goal is to not only share a humorous, interactive story, where children's sensory and problem-solving skills are enhanced, but to also teach children about themselves through these characters. The color of Splatter and each of his friends symbolizes personality and behavioral traits. Parents can use these colorful characters to encourage their child to express who they are, what they like, and what they are feeling." said Melissa.
