Maurice Hoppe Releases HIGH PRIEST & COMING KING

The great controversy between Christ and Satan over the law of God and the fallen race is introduced in Genesis 3:15. Christ said to Satan, "I will put enmity between you and the woman [the true church] and between your seed [followers] and her Seed [Christ]." This controversy has been in progress for approximately 6000 years and is soon to reach its culmination in the Battle of Armageddon at the second coming of Christ. In his newly-released nonfiction book, "High Priest and Coming King," (published by Xlibris) author Maurice Hoppe gives a clear and simple outline of the closing events of this earth's history as presented in the Bible and explains God's great plan of salvation for man.

"The book reveals how Christ is the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world [Revelation 13:8]." Christ came to this earth the first time to pay the penalty for our sins," says Hoppe, "and to ratify the new covenant by his blood which he shed on the cross." He goes further to explain that when Christ's work is completed in the heavenly sanctuary, he will come again to take those that have developed his character by his grace and power to be with him forever. Thus will be fulfilled the Father's original purpose for creating mankind.' "High Priest and Coming King" calls attention to the judgment which is already in process, expounding on the great plan of redemption that God, through his Son, Jesus Christ, has provided for his faithful followers.

"We are entering the final struggle of this controversy at the present time," Hoppe believes. The ultimate destiny of every soul is at stake for eternal life or eternal death. It is therefore important, he says, to build a firmer foundation of truth - from Christ and his word - on which to stand during the coming crisis.

About the Author
Maurice Hoppe was born into a farming family at the height of the great depression. As a young adult, he became interested in knowing what God had in store for his life and pursued a Christian education, obtaining a master's degree in Bible and Systematic Theology with emphasis on Old Testament History. Following a career which included education, health care and management, he became intensely interested in prophecy from a biblical perspective. In 1995, he established Revelation Ministry and later authored three books which were distributed primarily throughout the United States, Canada and Africa. Most recently, he authored a series of correspondence lessons on Bible prophecy. He and his wife operate a Bible correspondence school from their home. Currently, he is the director of two correspondence courses - Training Program for Ministers and Church Leaders and Preparing for the Final Conflict for the general public at Steps to Life near Wichita, Kansas.
