Michael Greyson, once a legendary football player, was the head coach for the Arizona Marauders, a pro-football team. Michael's career was cut short when a plane crash puts Michael in a coma for six years and counting. His wife, Melanie, is now left to pick up the pieces.

Author Maggie Hinton invites readers to experience the romantic and emotional story of Melanie in her new novel "Crossing Caine's Road" (published by Trafford Publishing).

With her husband's condition showing no signs of improvement, Melanie packs her bags and moves with her three children to the Arizona town of Buena Suerte. There, Melanie uses her teaching experience to teach the students English. Meanwhile, her 17-year-old daughter K.C. fears for the closing of the music department, as she's an award-winning trumpet player.

Melanie and K.C.'s life is about to change forever, with the arrival of Jesse Cockran, the new music teacher and skilled trumpet player. When he meets Melanie, the two immediately feel a connection. Has Melanie found a second chance for love?
