MS Cooper marks her debut in the literary fiction genre with the release of her first novel titled "The Greenhouse" (published by Xlibris). A prescient and provocative piece of work, this new book examines pressing issues of climate change through the experiences of four people who become entangled in an impending global catastrophe.

Cooper started reading about climate change in the early 1990s, just as reports of this issue started gaining mainstream momentum. Her desire to spread awareness inspired her to write a novel that tackled the issue in a compelling and thought-provoking way.

"I felt that by offering up a story, people would at least think about climate change, the impact it is having on earth and our daily lives and how, unless we do something soon, it could destroy the planet," Cooper says. "In short I wrote the book to be a warning for future generations who will be affected by the changes happening to earth today."

"The Greenhouse" follows Kathy Benson, a data scientist working for the government, who uncovers a terrifying secret that could destroy the entire planet. It is part thriller, part cautionary tale, a timely read that offers incisive insight into today's current environmental issues.
