The first in Susan Binau's eight-book 'Caring Soul Series', 'Mommy, Can I Call You In Heaven?' was created to provide support to families facing a life-threatening illness. Inspired by the lack of answers to her questions after receiving her own stage-three colon cancer diagnosis, Binau wrote this book to help others in her situation. In the book, Binau shares true stories from five years of research and her personal cancer experience, chronicling the complex web of emotions, questions, and fears often faced by patients and their loved ones.

Written in the form of a cancer survivor's diary, the book combines realism, humor, and humanity in short anecdotes that patients and families can easily relate to. In a story telling style, the anecdotes offer opportunities for personal reflection as well as examples of how Binau's family found answers to some of the difficult questions that any family may have during a loved one's illness. Practical guidance is offered throughout the book, to help families understand how they can take action, begin speaking openly about the difficult topics and come to terms with the possibility that one may die and leave children or other loved ones behind. Not just for patients, the guidance in the book offers insight applicable to anyone close to the cancer patient.

'Mommy, Can I Call You In Heaven? - How we coped with cancer as a family' is published by eBookIt.com and distributed to eBook retailers including Amazon.com, BN.com, Apple's iBookstore, Kobo, and Google Play.

Book reviewers are invited to contact the author for a review copy of the book. The author is available for interviews and welcomes the opportunity to speak on television and radio with programming focused on advocacy and support of families facing a life-threatening illness.
