A ferret and a young man become unlikely friends in the 2006 children's picture book from author M.J. Abrams, "Chubby Wubbles: A Ferret's Tale" (published by Trafford Publishing).

"Chubby Wubbles" is currently available on Goodreads.com as part of a book giveaway, created by Abrams. This giveaway runs until May 24, 2016 when 10 winners will be chosen to receive a copy of the book.

"Chubby Wubbles" is a fictional children's picture book that shows young readers how to care for pets and assume responsibility.

In it, Jeremy adopts Chubby, a lonely ferret, and the two become fast friends. But Chubby's adventurous spirit leads him outside Jeremy's apartment and into unknown territory.

In order to find Chubby, Jeremy must overcome obstacles and trust his instincts. Abrams says the book teaches children to respect animals and pets, to act responsibly and to love and trust their pets.
