Author M. Kelly heard a quote that said "If you have a good idea start today because tomorrow never comes." This quotation led her in writing "Metamorphosis," (published by Xlibris AU) her second novel which follows on from "Pathways in the Mind" and expresses her interest in psychology.

Can people really change the fundamental part of themselves? What would it take to induce them to change? Is it possible to change the inner self or can we only change the outer dimensions of our lives? It is a story of lies, betrayal and enduring love. It also looks at the role post-traumatic stress disorder can have on the life of an individual.

"This is a current book about things that are happening in the world today," M. Kelly says. "Readers can read this book as just a story or if they are inclined, they could look at the deeper issues that are implied. As a psychological thriller, it explores in depth the perceptions of the characters. Why they became the people they became and look at the likely-hood of change."

Through the publication of "Metamorphosis", M. Kelly hopes readers will become engrossed in the characters and find they have learned something from them and from the story itself.
