From the creative and highly imaginative author Lynny Harris comes a highly provocative tale that highlights one woman's love and how she is willing to sacrifice everything for the man he loves. Readers will follow a remarkable love story that is situated in a royalty setting that brims with passion, romance and infidelity.

"Midbar I" (published by Xlibris) is about the life of Bathsheba, wife of King David and mother of King Solomon. Midbar captures and portrays the woman who publicly withstood the scandal of adultery to become the mother of the next king of Israel, Solomon. While there has long been a fascination with the reigns of King David and King Solomon, this book gives an inside view from a woman's perspective of that period as Midbar does.

Will Bathsheba finally get the man she loves? Or will she be left empty handed losing the man she loves and the life she adores? Readers will witness what happens next as this poignant drama uncovers its ending.

Skillfully written, highly imaginative and extremely interesting, "Midbar I" tackles a groundbreaking tale of love transformed into lust and greed. This book showcases how society understands infidelity and how they accept the norms from a taboo.

"Midbar I" is part of a book series which include "Midbar II" and "Midbar III."

About the Author
Lynny Harris is a reporter for The Indianhead Star under the pseudonym Lynny, her nickname. Her background in having done several investigative stories was very helpful in the years of research that she did for "Midbar." The author had an article in Countryside Magazine. She continued to write essays and did research for a biography for a missionary to Africa. Her credentials for writing this particular book stem from her discovery that her father was not her biological father. In embracing her new family, she began to better understand her family of origin. Yet nothing thoroughly explained the incredible, close relationship she had with the father who raised her with such love.
