I must confess I was largely influenced by a book that I read called "Social Principles and the Democratic State" by Allen and Unwin," says author Paul O'Hara when asked what inspired him to publish his newest book. That and his insatiable desire to learn and contribute to society sowed the seed for 'Liberty, Justice and the State." Paul O'Hara's early life and education was spent in Perth before he moved to Melbourne in his 20s. His interest in reading over a large period of time allowed him to become familiar with many of the European thinkers. This has been the melting pot for his ideas.
