Lauren Mattocks Steinbeck, a celebrated author and elementary school teacher, has completed her new book "Jim Jibber and Pals A Christmas Re-Run": the third in a series with memorable and lovable characters who are dizzy with excitement and celebrating the arrival of the man in the big red suit.

When asked of her inspiration, Lauren says, "(I was) inspired by the works of Dr. Seuss and the fun, nonsensical language that my father and I created when I was a child. I combined these two things along with the imaginative characters developed by my husband to create the series "Jim Jibber and Pals" ."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Lauren Mattocks Steinbeck's sweet and amusing tale transports the reader to the town of Ortnip, where it is Christmas time again. Jim, Patch-Cat, Corn Dog and Pete are giddy with anticipation and the thrill that only the big man and his eight tiny reindeer can bring.

So hang the lights, strike the music, decorate the tree. Add a dusting of snow and a crackling fire; we're rolling out the red carpet for you know who. Time to count the days in December with Jim and his pals. It is sure to be a Christmas Re-run to remember!

Readers who wish to experience this rollicking work can purchase "Jim Jibber and Pals A Christmas Re-Run" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
