In his new book "Christ-Centered Consciousness" (published by Balboa Press), author John T. Ryan IV recounts for readers his recollections of what he terms a spiritual awakening that took place from 2011-2013. He describes this awakening, and offers readers an exciting vision of a homosexuality-supporting Christ.

"Christ-Centered Consciousness" is about, Ryan says, a spiritual awakening in Christ. It's about how to get in touch with the spirit of love that is at the core of one's deepest self.

An excerpt from "Christ-Centered Consciousness":

"Regardless of the smile, and the recognition of evil in my consciousness, I was still very sick on Christmas Day, 2011. I spent it out in Bellingham, Washington. While in church, I looked up at the cross behind the altar. The next thing I knew, I could feel power coming out of it, combined with a feeling of love. It was one of the most beautiful feelings I had ever felt in my entire life, and I knew Jesus was trying to talk to me. While I had always believed in Jesus, it was my first spiritual experience of the cross. I could feel without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus loved me. I could feel his desire to heal me. It was the most moving moment of my life."

"Many people are craving a spiritual awakening," Ryan notes. "They don't know exactly how to find it. This book talks about how Christ loves homosexuality, a very divisive issue in our culture. The idea that the creator of the universe loves homosexuality is revolutionary."
