Jeff Smith Releases PREPARATIONS

Author Jeff Smith believes that the United States citizenry is gradually losing its freedom. As a result, the prepper movement is working on a survival plan for local and international emergencies. Inspired by this premise, Smith created for storyline series which led to the writing of his new futuristic adventure novel, "PREPARATIONS."

"PREPARATIONS" takes readers to a future where world catastrophes are imminent. It takes place at a time when most Americans are conditioned to rely on the government for guidance and cannot decide for themselves anymore. While there are a few who can think for themselves, they find it dangerous to say their thoughts aloud because someone will punish those who go against the government.

Encouraging self-reliance, "PREPARATIONS" is the story of a few citizens who would like to get away from totalitarian government control. Through the characters' adventures, the novel features a dystopian society and emphasizes loss of freedom of the world's superpower. Smith motivates readers to think and act for themselves and for the welfare of their country.
