Jane Hughes Offers 'The Adventurous Vegetarian: Around the world in 30 Meals'

Writer and veggie enthusiast Jane Hughes is giving hungry readers something to chew on with her newest cookbook, The Adventurous Vegetarian: Around the world in 30 meals (New Internationalist, October 2013).

Whether cooking for a group of friends at a dinner party or preparing a casual healthy meal for two, Hughes' innovative cookbook includes ethnic recipes that will surprise and satisfy as she explores culinary traditions from all corners of the globe and proves that vegetarian cuisine is bursting with flavor and great stories. The Adventurous Vegetarian features 304 pages of mouthwatering meals and cultural tidbits from Vietnam, Brazil, Ethiopia, Palestine and more than two dozen other countries.

Hughes has 20 years of experience as an editor, production manager and small publisher. She has been part of The Vegetarian Society since the '80s. She is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and has been the editor of The Vegetarian magazine for the Vegetarian Society UK for more than a decade. She is the author of "The Vegetarian Handbook," "The Vegetarian Travel Guide" and "The Collins Gem Guide to Vegetarian Food." Hughes has created a healthy "food network" of recipes for any palate.
