Author James Litai has noticed through years of study and observation that a large number of people in his native Papua New Guinea do not know anything about their laws, which leaves them vulnerable to exploitation from unsavory elements of society. In"Introduction to Our Laws" (published by Xlibris AU) the author has created a truly informative read that gives readers a rudimentary introduction to the laws of Papua New Guinea.

"Introduction to Our Laws" is a highly ingenious read that is purposely written for the teachers and students of Legal Studies at Upper Secondary Gr.11 and 12 levels. It is also useful for teachers and students at lower secondary and primary level as well. The content itself is introductory basic laws of Papua New Guinea, any lay person can pickup up a copy of this book to gain the insights of introductory law.

The book is the first of its kind written by someone who is not a lawyer. This area is law field and someone from outside the box has written this and is designed to attract the attention of readers.
