J.C. Nicholson loves a new challenge. Though originally a poet, Nicholson found herself wanting to write lengthier pieces and break out of her comfort zone. Now on her sixth novel, Nicholson continues to thrive and thrill readers with her newest novel, "The Unraveling Of Shauna Blackman" (published by AuthorHouse).

"The novel is filled with twists and turns from beginning to end," writes Nicholson.

Shauna Blackman believes she murdered her husband. The problem is that she doesn't have a husband. As Shauna begins to come undone, she flees Massachusetts for a small town in northern Maine, overrun with secrets, lies and murder. When a bartender blames her for a murder, Shauna's only ally might be her twin sister, Jesse, but something is not quite right with her.

"Shauna and Jesse Blackman share a strange tie to one another," Nicholson explains. "They maintain a relationship that defies explanation."

Filled with suspense and intriguing characters, "The Unraveling Of Shauna Blackman" keeps readers guessing until the very last page. Nicholson hopes to give readers "smiles and satisfaction at having read an enjoyable book."
