NORCROSS, Ga. - Advocating the importance of enforcing values formation and cultivating creativity at a young age, author Iris Hagan marks her debut in the world of children's literature with "Grandma's Song" (published by Xlibris). In this wonderfully insightful tale, Hagan chronicles the story of a young girl and her inspiring journey to self-discovery.

Nia is a typical child. She experiences the common obstacles that young children often experience growing up - issues with confidence, self-esteem and the need to belong and be loved. She confides her worries with her grandmother who happily sings to her a special song about being special in one's own way. At first, this melodic advice did not seem to transcend to her. Yet, as she navigates her way through little journeys, her grandmother's message comes to life. Nia's story comes full circle as she passes along the wisdom to a friend.

"Through Nia's story, I hope to empower children with the belief that they are capable, talented and enough," says Hagan. May this simple tale awaken you to the beauty of your own uniqueness and make you realize your unlimited potential to inspire others.
A powerful and motivating tale, offers the enriching ingredients of a timeless literary gem that shines with meaning and human significance.
