Everything was perfect in Katerina Mayants' life when she met, married and had a daughter with the love of her life. That is, until her daughter was diagnosed with cancer. The memoir of a wife and mother of four, "Happiest Mom on the Block: The Greatest Gift We Can Give our Children is our Happiness" (published by Balboa Press) shares Mayants' journey to finding happiness after losing her daughter.

The terminal cancer her daughter had left Mayants childless and suicidal. Because of her grief over losing her daughter, she lost her job, her friends and almost her marriage. Mayants embarked on a journey to learning the meaning of life and finding blessings in tragedies. Along the way, she found happiness and bliss. The book offers Mayants' secrets to a satisfying marriage, discovering oneself, and raising happy, respectful and loving children.

"Many moms are feeling stressed, lost and confused about how to balance it all," Mayants says. "Truth is, there is no need to change anything, there is only a need to change ones understanding of oneself."
