Gregory E. Burchett Releases MISSING THE LINKS

After he lost his son, author Gregory E. Burchett started to keep a journal to help him emotionally deal with the hole in his heart. As time went by, he realized that very little had been published about his situation, and much less had been published from the view of a father/husband. "Missing The Links: A Mother's Murder of My 17-Month Old Son Garrison" (published by AuthorHouse) brings readers into his plight and takes them from the events leading up to the loss of his son to who he is today.

"Imagine your 17-month-old son being killed by his mother," says Burchett. "How could you possibly deal with this tragedy, and how could you possibly try to keep an optimistic outlook?"

"Missing The Links" is a reflection of what Burchett went through. The book takes readers into the events leading up to the loss of the author's son, how he dealt with the murder trial that followed, and how he began building a new life from the rubble that surrounded him. Each page is written from his heart and shows readers his successes and failures in regards to dealing with his pain.

"There is always optimism in the center of turmoil. There is always something that can be done, and there are always 'red flags' which lead up to each and every tragedy," says Burchett. "I want you to identify in yourself things that may help avoid a tragedy like this in the future. Simply asking someone for help is so hard, but it is so vital."
