In his recently released book, "Platypus Dreaming," (published by Xlibris AU) author Graeme Innes shows a language hijacked, the words used as colonizing swords rather than fulfilling their function as soul food. Designed to spark the mind and ignite individually useless snippets of experience, more and more, Innes argues that words have become the limiting, self-constructed bars to an asphyxiating, fireproof jail of social tyranny.

This book's central concept is to show that Western style hierarchical societies are hamstrung because all their information is driven by logic and reason alone, denying the efficacy of feeling and intuition from delivering responses capable of revolving problems at their roots.

This story is bound by an age-old Aboriginal story that one day a young Aboriginal woman would be born into the "Platypus Dreaming" whose wisdom and intelligence would move like the perfume of a flower on the wind, traveling across the land and then internationally, causing all the different cultures to realize that they belong together, making one thing.

In its very essence, "Platypus Dreaming" opens doors to enhance humanity's capabilities, taking readers on journeys of personal revelation, through hidden, sub-conscious layers of development built and handed down over generations from stories that have shaped man's unfolding, but which now herald a new phase of personal and collective responsibility.
