Gary Ball, is a fourth generation Californian living in Texas. He is teamed with his granddaughter who lives in California, to complete their first book "Beneath the Ice": an eye opening fictional book that will provide the reader with the keys necessary to discover a new planes of existence, performance, and self-satisfaction.

Speaking about what inspired him to pen his new book, author Gary Ball said, "I set out to write a feel good book. Which means the characters need to be likeable, engaging and real. Hopefully the book will lead some people to better understand themselves and what motivates them to act as they do. So many people are floundering about without connecting to their inner self, making mistakes that are often not in their best interests."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Gary and Abby Ball's poignant tale is both reflective and insightful, this work leaves no stone unturned as it examines the failures and successes of a resilient soul.

The discovery of the power to influence and persuade other people can be a shock, especially when it evolves out of a situation that threatens to ruin the life of a young girl. Tess, the heroine of the story, finds herself immersed in a real life situation that few can cope with nor understand. Tess's road to solving her problem requires that she go backward in time, undoing all that she had accepted as fact until she finds a bedrock to build upon. What she discovers is far different than she expected. What she had viewed as a liability becomes her greatest asset as new values replace old beliefs. The solution to her problem becomes an evolving process using this new knowledge to replace the simple views of a young girl. Tess's road to enlightenment can be a shared experience with the reader and hopefully identify values that will carry beyond the last page of this book.

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase"Beneath the Ice" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
