"A friend said, this is a story that needs to be told," author Rusty A. Lang says about the inspiration for her book, "Good Things Take Time" (published by Xlibris). "It is written for those who suffer from a damaged soul and struggle to emerge from the consequences."

This memoir chronicles the main events in the author's life as she seeks an elusive destiny. She was ejected by her family. She had wandered the globe experiencing numerous relationships, exploring experimental lifestyles, adventures and misadventures and suffering heartache, betrayal and abuse. Through it all, she survived by using her wits. Her body not her own, a soul in torment and finally a spirit released with a relationship found in Jesus Christ.

An excerpt from the book:
The wounds of a damaged soul are hidden. I was bleeding inside from a wound no human could heal. When my personal boundaries were broken at a young age, my mind began to fill with sick thinking. Sex on any level was equated with love. Hollywood depicts this as acceptable by throwing in the idea that physical and emotional abuse is glamorous. This is a lie from the pit of hell. It is never okay. I was confused about love, finding it and keeping it. I made poor choices and ended up in a lot of pain. I grew up with love entangled with pain and embarrassment.

An enlightening and inspiring read, "Good Things Take Time" demonstrates Creator God exists, Jesus is faithful and that the supernatural powers of the Holy Spirit operate today.

About the Author
Rusty A. Lang is a self-styled writer. Her passion for the written word was first ignited as a toddler, then by higher education, dyslexia and brain thought travelogues, escapism, journaling and books. Though her book is a transparent reflection of her unloved dysfunctional life to a functional loved life, the secret from where her pen name materialized stays close to her heart. Her next book, a complete deviation from "Good Things Take Time," will take the reader into the realm of wisdom, titled "Hour of the Owl."
