MONROE, Ga.

Author Faith Divine had her share of obstacles in life. She felt that people need to know they can deal with the same issues and persevere through them. Her new publication, "My Life and My Struggles" (published by Xlibris), touches readers' hearts and encourages them not to hold hatred and anger amidst their suffering.

Alcohol and other dysfunctions "mock" the memories of what true love should be, and replaces it with a sense of false hope. It even tries to destroy destiny in a generation. But for some, it pushes them into success and motivates others to strive even more toward destiny. The author has often wondered whether what she saw, observed and felt in her parents' life, as well as through other people, was a prime example of why she experienced and allowed so many things that caused the things to happen in her own. There were many times in her life that she had been so wounded and hurt, but she still had love. In this eye-opening and motivating memoir, she details her struggle against the trials and tribulations she went through.

Divine hopes that her story will become an inspiration for readers to face their demons and put back the pieces of their lives together. What she went through may be a learning experience that will help them deal with the pain and scars of the past.

A true testament of the human spirit, "My Life and My Struggles" is an inspiring journey of a remarkable woman who survived and flourished despite the many obstacles in her life.
