Dr. Rich Releases THE BIG RED CAR

The Big Red Car has a comfy home in his owner's garage, but he'd rather be out using his speed and agility to help those in need in the neighborhood.

In Dr. Rich's book "The Big Red Car," the title character debuts as a big-hearted, speedy sidekick who joins his owner Jim on a rescue mission when Scraps the dog goes missing. The Big Red Car and Jim must race to find Scraps before the dogcatcher beats them to the chase.

A Georgia-based spine and pain and rehabilitation physician, Dr. Rich created the character of the Big Red Car for his own children as a way to teach them values, including teamwork, helping others, and good stewardship.

"It's important to have an uplifting, entertaining message for children," said Dr. Rich. "The book allows children to go to an imaginary place where they view people experiencing healthy and happy relationships as they tackle daily life problems."

With large, glossy illustrations and entertaining sound effects for children of all ages, "The Big Red Car" takes children on a ride to remember.

Dr. Rich is a physician, author, and father of four who is originally from New Jersey. Inspired by family members in the performing arts, he always had dreams of communicating through music and written language. Outside of his spine and pain medical practice, Dr. Rich performs in community musical theater and works on muscle cars with his son.
