Dolly Parton to Perform on NBC's TONIGHT SHOW & TODAY in Support of Her New Album

Dolly Parton, the most honored female country performer of all time, has received 25 RIAA certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and landed 25 songs at number 1 on the Billboard Country charts and has 41 career top 10 country albums.

Today, NBC announced that the award-winning singer will perform onTHE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING Jimmy Fallon tonight, August 23rd and on TODAY on Wednesday, August 24th in support of her new album, 'Pure & Simple', a disc of 10 new songs.

About The Tonight Show: In 2014, "The Tonight Show" returned to its New York origins when "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" made its broadcast debut from Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center. Emmy Award- and Grammy Award-winning comedian Jimmy Fallon brings a high-tempo energy to the storied NBC franchise with his welcoming interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations and innovative sketches.

An American television institution for almost 60 years, "The Tonight Show" continues to be a home to big-name celebrity guests and a stage for top musical and comedic talent.
