STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.

Author Diana Castore-Cocchi presents the fantastical story of a little girl named Estelle and her fairy godmother, Serendipitous, in the new book, "The Whimsical Secret Reveal of a Fairy Godmother: A Tale of Serendipitous" (published by AuthorHouse).

Set in the dreamy Tuscan region of Pienza, Italy, "The Whimsical Secret Reveal of a Fairy Godmother" shares a powerful message of hope, acceptance and a reminder that no one is ever really alone.

Estelle is being looked after by a very powerful, mystical wonder, who is revealed to her as her very own fairy godmother. Estelle is very special, because not everyone gets to meet their fairy godmother, but in a simple act, Serendipitous reveals herself to Estelle, and over the course of time, their interactions become quite regular.

Castore-Cocchi always felt a strong sense that she was being looked after, which helped inspire her story.

"Serendipitous teaches Estelle that no matter what life offers, in the end we will always be ok," Castore-Cocchi says. "I want to remind readers that there will always be someone there for you, even in what might feel like your loneliest hour."
