Tom Cahalan holds a degree in mechanical engineer from the College of Technology in Dublin. He worked in Canada and the U.S. before returning to Ireland in the early 1980s. For the past twelve years, Cahalan has been studying scientific theories pertaining to the nature of the universe. In 2012 Cahalan published his first book, "Beyond the Horizon: Where Science Finds God." Currently he lives in Clane, Co Kildare with his wife and family.
