CLERMONT, Fla.

New novel shines with universal themes of love, relationships, and hope.

In her debut novel titled "Life's Twists" (published by Xlibris), Corinne Oates explores the ripple effects of tragedy in one's life. She tells a poignant story of a woman who embarks on a journey to find love, meaning and redemption after a painful tragedy.

"Life's Twists" introduces readers to Carina Rosario whose life is irrevocably altered after the death of her husband. She relocates her family to Baltimore, eager for a fresh start. Carina busies herself with work but her nightmares and depression worsen. In the midst of emotional upheaval, she meets Jackson Smith, an enigmatic man who offers friendship. Like Carina, Jackson, too, has experienced life-changing tragedy and the two find comfort in their bond.

In the story that unfolds, Oates explores universal themes of family, friendship, love and the indomitable human spirit. "Life's Twists" is a deeply moving journey from pain to healing, loss to love and from hopelessness to renewal.

"My book imparts the message that regardless of what storms come into our lives, there will always be blue skies afterward," Oates says, "You have to be strong in the midst of the storms and have faith that things will get better."
