It has been five years since her daughter Heather's death, yet author Sherry Anne Coombe never forgets, believing that "living with the death of a child is the worst and hardest thing in the world." This is the amazing true story of a mother's love, courage, unbelievable strength, and heartbreak as she learned the hard way how terrible it is to have a child die. Coombe shares a poignant and inspiring memoir "Confessions of a Grieving Mother," which brings you face to face into one mother's heartbreaking journey as she continues to live.

"I did not cry. The moment came when Heather died; I did not shed a tear. I felt numb, like I was having an out of body experience, and I was watching myself go through the motions. There were things to do; people to call; it was not the time to begin to fall apart. I had just joined an elite club of grieving mothers. This was the club no one talked about or wanted to become a member of. From that moment on my life was getting a makeover that I didn't ask for let alone consent to allowing it to happen. It was beyond my control; I was not given a choice. This was and is my life now. I am a grieving mother for the rest of my life."

Passionate about her precious daughter and her short life, Coombe admits that she will never be the same person after Heather's death. Simple and honest, this amazing true story begins with surviving the first few months after the funeral and continues with the day to day struggles of being a member of the "grieving mothers club." This touching memoir, "Confessions of a Grieving Mother," is not just a simple survival guide, but Coombe offers a shoulder to lean on for others who are facing the same situation.
