"The Green Ribbon Day": a book of little life lessons taught through many characters. This story is taken from real-life experiences the author has had in dealing with the many children she has loved throughout her life.

"The Green Ribbon Day" is the creation of published author, Colleen Jones, a child of God who loves children. She enjoys being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Her family has been a great source of encouragement to her. She has had the privilege of teaching elementary school, directing an after school program, and leading many years of Vacation Bible School. Colleen is currently serving as the children's pastor at REAL Family church in San Jose, California.
