Cloe D. Adrian has completed her new book "The Rose": a heart-felt collection of poems following a girl's growing pains as she starts out with dating and ends with falling in love.

Cloe lives in Long Island, NY with her husband, Steve and her two children, Isabella and Sophia. She currently works at a local hospital, St. Francis Hospital. She writes poetry and short stories. She has been writing since she was fourteen years old.

She has a BSN in Nursing from Molloy College and a BA in Psychology from Adelphi. She is looking to get a Masters in the near future. She is a reiki master and an intuitive psychic healer. She loves to do yoga and do kickboxing. She likes to eat, clean, and get plenty of exercise. Her interests are drawing, painting and reading. You can find her biking and hiking in the outdoors with her family and children.

She believes that "Sometimes we know things to be a lot deeper than what they appear to be. It is a spiritual awakening. This is the time of the shift. We chose to incarnate here during a great shift. We are all shifting into higher states of being. We will begin to vibrate to higher levels as we become more crystalline".

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, C. D. Adrian's honest and memorable poems highlight what growth. The poems span over 20 years starting as early as 1993. "The Rose" talks about what it is like to be thrown away and then be put back together again, talking of a rebirth, and transitioning from young girl to adulthood and the people that are affected in the process. These are the people that affect us and the ones we affect. In the book she knew she would meet him before she met him. She wrote about and remembered him before he came to her life.

Cloe concludes, "Sometimes we just have to fumble and find our way to where we should be a few times. It is normal to stumble and fall as we find our way. This, I hope, should make it ok to feel the way we do".

Readers who wish to experience this powerful work can purchase "The Rose" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
