Books-A-Million Launches Customer Appreciation Month

Books-A-Million is dedicating the entire month of April to its customers with special events, gift card giveaways and special savings for everyone, including kids, teachers and more. Customer Appreciation Month at Books-A-Million kicks off on Saturday, April 4 by celebrating teachers with Educator Week and wraps up with Geek Week, which will bring out the geek in everyone with Stars Wars events and comic book giveaways. The teacher celebration starts with an Educator Week kickoff event from 12-4 pm on Saturday, April 4 and ends Friday, April 10. Books-A-Million Educator Card holders will save 25% on select in-store items purchased during the week. Teachers can sign up for a Books-A-Million Educator Discount card by bringing their school ID to the store and registering during checkout.

Students will also be able to nominate their favorite teacher to win a $1,000 Books-A-Million gift card by visiting Books-A-Million's Facebook page. During the week, teachers can register to win Books-A-Million gift cards, a NOOK Glowlight, Rosetta Stone Spanish edition, and more.

Following up Educator Week is Millionaires Club Card week, which takes place from Saturday, April 11 to Friday, April 17. Customers that sign up or renew their Millionaires Club membership will receive a $10 reward card. Club members will receive a 10% off coupon for in-store purchases in addition to regular Millionaires Club discounts. Members will also receive a Books-A-Million tote bag with a purchase of $25 or more while supplies last.

On Saturday, April 18 through Friday, April 24, Books-A-Million becomes Kids-A-Million with events that will inspire and help to instill a love of reading. The kickoff on April 18 features an in-store storytime event featuring the Paw Patrol. Throughout the week there will be numerous prize pack giveaways and discounts on popular kid's books and toys.

Books-A-Million wraps up Customer Appreciation Month with Geek Week from Saturday, April 25 through Saturday, May 2. Star Wars fans will be treated to a May the Fourth Be With You special event on May 2 and Books-A-Million will treat comic book lovers with Free Comic Book Day on May 3.
