ROCKVILLE, In.

The bond between a father and son plays an instrumental role in shaping future relationships. Author, Bobbie Sue Nicholson has highlighted this connection in her newest novel.

"Chains" (published by AuthorHouse) is a Western narrative about a young man, Milo Black, who is resentful against being ordered to marry a woman from a refined Eastern family by his father, a former bounty hunter and lawman.

While Milo struggles to decide his own fate and become a better man than his father, the true dangers and injustice of the West come to life.

"I wanted to write a book that would take readers back to a different time," Nicholson said. "I focused on providing a story that was entertaining and emotionally insightful."

"Chains" highlights the difficulties of family dysfunction, while empowering readers to take charge of their life and not let emotions or fears hold them back.
