Bernice Small is a native of the island of Jamaica, and a US citizen. She is a retired teacher who taught Math, English, Drama, and other subjects in Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Florida. Bernice earned her Master's degree in, Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) from Nova University. In 2001, she was the recipient of an English Language Teaching Contest award given by Academy Publishing Co in Tokyo, Japan.

Carle Flores, an avid nature lover, took frequent walks into the woods near her village. On one such venture she encountered a hideous monster. The Prince and his men were unseated from their horses when they were tossed into the woods by hurricane-force, winds, but the Prince's powerful horse Wolfgang found them and improved their chances of survival. Will the Prince and his warriors perish in this evil place, or will they meet the monster and rescue Carle?
