TAMARAC, Fla.

National Right to Life Director of Education and Research Randall K. O'Bannon, Ph.D., stated in a recent article that there have been more than 56 million abortions since 1973. He attributes this number to trends in national reports conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Guttmacher Institute.

Author Keven C. Covert offers women who have undergone abortions a route to spiritual healing in her new book, "Brick By Brick: Healing His Way A Devotional and Journal for Healing a Woman's Heart" (published by WestBow Press). Within her book, Covert offers encouragement and inspiration to women who regret their decisions to have abortions.

"After my own personal healing from my past abortion and dealing with the issues that are associated with such an experience," Covert says, "my passion to see other women healed of the same thing grew."

Covert wrote "Brick by Brick" to help women heal using a 100-day journey through Scripture. She presents readers with hopeful prayers and space for personal reflection so they can start bringing closure to their souls.
