Ken Cook, the outdoors writer behind the popular series, "Outdoors with Ken Cook," and Senior Editor for Fishing Tackle Retailer, has released a new book exploring the lives of outdoors women and men. Wild Country: True Stories from the Great Outdoors is a compilation of Ken's best newspaper columns published over the last three years in small-town newspapers.

The product of hours of interviews with unique and interesting outdoorsmen, the book contains short, quick-read stories about women in the outdoors, unforgettable sportsmen, sporting dogs, game wardens, swamps, fishing, game birds, snake hunting, small game, deer, wild hogs, panthers, and much more.

Previously unpublished in book form, the book offers readers fresh, entertaining, and authentic subject matter.

"I've created this book for anyone who has ever ventured outdoors and longed for a deeper or broader view," explains Ken.

Wild Country: True Stories from the Great Outdoors is available now on Amazon.com, Shop.BookLogix.com, and other retail outlets.

Signed copies are available by writing Ken Cook at 180 Hunnicutt Drive, Athens, Georgia 30606, with additional costs for shipping and applicable taxes. The ebook will be available this fall.
