Inspired by the limited guidance provided to young people and the struggles parents face in addressing current issues affecting their children, author Dan-Bush Bhusumane, together with Simon Mekia Marumo, shares a handy guide for students out there. "The Junior School Learner Book 3" (published by Xlibris) assists young people as they navigate today's world with its complexities and stressors.

This book lends a hand to junior secondary school students in coping with the many facets of school and growing up. The first section is about assessing personal quality traits and how personality influences decisions. It then helps the learner identify good ways of communicating with others, use better and effective methods of studying and how to handle examination anxiety. It provides skills of use of time effectively and designing a study timetable to achieving good results. It identifies better ways of managing resources and teaches self-discipline and how to succeed at school; and ultimately in life.

"The book addresses life issues and concerns faced by learners as they progress to prepare for life or if they have to succeed in life," Bhusumane shares. "The central focus of the book is facilitation of self-understanding, personal, social, academic and career development."

An attractive quality of "The Junior School Learner Book 3" is that it does not overwhelm readers with chunks and chunks of information. Instead, it provides useful information that every person needs in order to live satisfactorily and in harmony with self; ultimately guiding readers to achieve their dreams.
