Predictions of the exact date of the Rapture have often been theorized, but author Albert J. Lynch thinks he has the date: July 7, 2013. He has now amended his date to July 7, 2016. According to his new book, "The Tribulation Hand-Book: For those Left Behind When Jesus Christ Comes for his Church Believers" (published by Trafford Publishing), a cataclysmic event will happen, and the rapture will soon follow.

For those left on the earth, "The Tribulation Hand-Book" outlines what can be expected from the coming years. "Many people do not even posses a Bible or read it, if they had one," writes Lynch. "This book will give them some answers as to why they are where they are."

The author pulls his knowledge directly from the Bible. "The Book of Revelation in the Bible ends on Chapter 22," he says. "Chapters 13 to 22 are synonymous with the years of tribulation - the seven-year period known as the 70th week of Daniel. The whole world as we know it will be gone by 2022."

Of his date change, Lynch says:

"2016 will be the time of the Lord's coming. The middle of the seven year period."
