In the wake of the 50th anniversary of the first arrival of The Beatles over America, author Albert Anaya performs a new marketing push for his Spanish language book, "Camino A La Abadia: Cuento de Los Beatos" (published by Trafford Publishing).

"For thousands of people, The Beatles represented a sort of savior," Anaya says. "They reached such a state that they were nearing religious levels. I hope readers notice that this is kind of a joke, but a serious one."

Anaya was inspired to address religious conflict, ambiguity and generalizations. He knows his book could offend some, but he hopes readers can find the humor in his tone and look past being offended to the good taste in what he has to say.

Directing readers to the Bible through his book, Anaya aims to cool down and demystify religious polarizations, and indicate that God is a concept.

An excerpt from "Camino A La Abadia":
