RIO VISTA, Calif. - Author Alan Kohls considers himself a Catholic but has long questioned the dogma and stories behind his faith. There are so many other mysteries surrounding humanity too; as well as things that most would just like to know. Who killed Kennedy? What happened to Hoffa? And so on. There of course are answers to all of it, but folks just can't get at them. What if someone came along with these answers, and proof for all of it? Would anyone listen? Would it make a difference in the world? Do people really want to know? These questions prompted him in writing "Answers" (published by Xlibris).

The book tells the story of renowned attorney, author and agent Aron Samuelson and his time with Andrew Elric; a visitor offering the answers he hopes can calm a world in crisis. Religion, nationalism, race, class, everyone comes from the same family and place. Can Andrew sell these ideas and proofs in time to save a world ready to explode? Elric selects Samuelson to help him spread the word; first he needs to convince Samuelson that he's legit. How can they present these truths? Is the world ready to know? Is it even interested? Will the answers themselves set the world on fire?

"It is a heavy topic, but the book is written with great humor," Kohls says. "It challenges readers to contemplate the very deepest questions we all carry, but does so in a fashion that will make them laugh along the journey. This book delves into the ever growing field of conspiracy theories and alternative ideas about our history as a species. It links together the Ancient Astronaut ideas in a series of events at least as plausible as anything millions of Americans stare at every week on the History channel."

Through the publication of "Answers," Kohls hopes to provide an avenue to question those points of faith and history that for him just do not add up. And, to communicate, acknowledge and encourage others out there pondering truths that seem to be out of their grasp.
