In The Wings Productions, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tanya Glassman and Executive Producer Adam Glassman, presents the song and dance extravaganza 42ND STREET, with performances from April 8-17 at the historic Snug Harbor Music Hall.

Directed by Emily Bodkin Scaglione, 42ND STREET features choreography by Tanya Glassman and music direction by Robert Butler.

The quintessential backstage musical comedy 42nd STREET features a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, music by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, 42nd STREET is based on a novel by Bradford Ropes and Busby Berkeley's 1933 movie and tells the story of a starry-eyed young dancer named Peggy Sawyer who leaves her Allentown home and comes to New York to audition for the new Broadway musical Pretty Lady. When the leading lady breaks her ankle, Peggy takes over and becomes a star. The score features the classic songs "We're in the Money," "Lullaby of Broadway", "Shuffle Off to Buffalo" and toe-tapping title tune, "42nd Street."

The production features John Griffin as notorious director Julian Marsh, Rebecca Sciannameo as Broadway leading lady Dorothy Brock and Kristen Dalto as newcomer Peggy Sawyer. Also featured in the production are Jenny Kelly (Maggie Jones), Craig Kwasnicki (Bert Barry), Michael Whelan (Abner Dillon), Phil Buccigrossi (Pat Denning), Anthony Massa (Billy Lawlor), Gianna Mingino (Anytime Annie), Frank West (Mac), Gary Bradley (Doctor), Stephen Kallas (Andy Lee), Patrick Kevorkian (Oscar), Fiona Gannon (Lorraine), and Marissa Terzino (Phyllis).

The ensemble features Amanda Rose Benjamin, Gary Bradley, Laura Casertano, Anthony Casiano, Alanna Dachille, Lisa Fiore, Gianna Fiumefreddo, Cara Fusaro, Nicole Hermansen, Sam Hermansen, Aurelius Irving, Makiko Kuri, Gabriella Manzella, Victoria Navarino, Danielle Oliveira, Julianna Pitera, Carly Racioppi, Melanie Randall, Rina Sklar, Nathan Ullrich, and Barbara Weir.

The production is designed by Andre Boulay (sets), Scaramouche (costumes), Tiffany Rau (lights), and Adam Chatfield (sound). Macey Best is production stage manager.

The original Broadway production opened at the Winter Garden Theatre August 25, 1980, with a cast that starred Jerry Orbach, Wanda Richert, Tammy Grimes, Lee Roy Reams, Carole Cook.Directed and choreographed by the legendary Gower Champion. Winning 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical, the production ran 3,000 performances. The 2001 Broadway revival won the Tony Award for Best Revival.
