The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical theatre star Sutton Foster will perform her one-woman cabaret 'An Evening with Sutton Foster' on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 7:30pm at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA as a benefit for the Huntington Theatre Company. Tickets for An Evening with Sutton Foster begin at $150. The performance will be preceded by intimate pre-show dinners at South End restaurants and private homes, and will be followed by a VIP Post-Show Cast Party with Sutton and Friends. Tickets for the pre-show dinner and the performance cost $250; tickets for all three events are $350. Proceeds from the events will benefit the Huntington's world-class productions and award-winning youth, education, and community programs.

Sutton Foster most recently appeared in this summer's Off Broadway smash hit, Paul Weitz's world premiere comedy TRUST, directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois at Second Stage Theatre. She received a Tony Award for her performance as Millie Dillmount in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and has also appeared as Princess Fiona in SHREK: THE MUSICAL, Inga in the Mel Brooks musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, Janet Van De Graaff in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, and Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN-THE MUSICAL. Earlier this year, she starred in a sold-out limited run of City Center Encores! production of Stephen Sondheim's ANYONE CAN WHISTLE and will star in the 2011 Roundabout Theatre Company revival of ANYTHING GOES. Foster will be accompanied by acclaimed music director Michael Rafter, who has conducted for many Broadway hits including GYPSY, JERSEY BOYS, and EVERYDAY RAPTURE.

"The radiance of Julia Roberts and the zany spunk of Holly Golightly only begins to describe the seductive charms of Sutton Foster in her irresistible cabaret show," praises The New York Times. "Enchanting, unpretentious, and thoroughly irresistible," proclaims Backstage, "performing numbers that showcase the versatility of her singing voice and the breadth of her acting prowess, Foster is bedazzling. A new cabaret star is born!"

The Pre-Show Dinners will occur at fine South End restaurants or at private homes of Huntington staff, trustees, overseers, and friends including Artistic Director Peter DuBois, and Huntington Overseer Neal Balkowitsch (Max Ultimate Food). Dinners will begin at 5pm. Locations will be assigned.

The VIP Post-Show Cast Party with Sutton and Friends will be in the Carol G. Deane Hall at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.

'An Evening with Sutton Foster' is co-chaired by Huntington Overseers Neal Balkowitsch, Anne Fitzpatrick Cucchiaro, John Frishkopf, and Debbie Lewis. It is a new Huntington initiative and compliments the Spotlight Spectacular! annual gala held each spring.
