The Tony Winning Broadway Sensation Passing Strange begins previews Thursday, February 23 with an official press opening set for Friday, February 24.

Performances continue at WHAT's Julie Harris Stage in Wellfleet, MA, Thursday-Sunday evenings at 7pm through March 4. There will be an additional matinee on Sunday, March 4 at 2pm. Tickets are available by calling 508.349.9428 or by visiting www.counter-productions.org.

This powerful musical steeped in rock and roll, follows a young African-American artist's journey of self discovery in Europe. With a Tony Winning Book by Stew and Music and Lyrics by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, Passing Strange is Directed by Susan Grilli, Choreographed by Ethan Paulini and Musical Director Casey Sanderson.Tthe cast includes Gregory K. Lathan, Anita Welch, Darlene Van Alstyne, Anton Floyd, Keith Antone, Thay Floyd and Alexandra Foucard (Broadway's Les Miserables). The band, led by musical director, Sanderson, featured Catherine "Cat" Popper, Keith Robinson, Austin Miller and Christian Gibbs from the original Broadway production and Spike Lee Movie.
