Cape Rep Theatre Continues TheatreLab into 2014

Cape Rep Theatre, in Brewster, Massachusetts is pleased to announce the continuation of its professional theater training program TheatreLab in January of 2014. Associate ArtisticDirector, Maura Hanlon, will bring her 25 years of experience teaching to Advanced Scene Study, and Cape Rep's Resident Playwright Art Devine, author and director of many plays including Cape Rep's summer hit, 9-Ball, grows his very successful Playwriting I class by bringing his expertise to Playwriting II, a writing class for students who are experienced playwrights or who have already taken Playwriting I.

With the Cape's rich culture of theater, Cape Rep's TheatreLab will provide professional theater training to any Cape Cod artist hoping to improve or expand his or her skills.

Advanced Scene Study begins January 6 and classes are from 7-9 on Monday evenings through March 10, 2014. Fee: $300

Playwriting II begins January 11 and classes are Saturdays from 9 am -1 pm through March 1, 2014. Fee: $300

Both classes will conclude with a showcase of work. All classes will take place in the Community Room of Cape Rep's Cape House. Registration is open now through January 11, 2014.
